The FIRCA Employees and Staff Association is now taking the termination of one of the six officers who were suspended because of breaches of FIRCA's code of conduct, to the Ministry of Labour.
Speaking to Village, Association General Secretary Kenneth Zinck said the termination is uncalled for.
According to Zinck, the officer is suspended because of his involvement in the leaking of information regarding an alleged tax evasion by an Interim Minister.
However, FIRCA Chairman, Filipe Bole earlier said that the suspension of six officers from duty was due to their involvement in approving tax refunds from which they made personal gains along with their accomplices.
