Police have raised concern on the circulation of counterfeit notes after ten $10 and six $20 fake notes were discovered in Suva, Nakasi and Sigatoka area.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said a service station Manager of Sigatoka found ten fake $10 notes while counting the days takings yesterday.
All the ten notes were given to the bowser attendant by a motorist after filling diesel.
Another six fake $20 notes with same serial number were discovered in Suva and Nakasi early this week.
Police believe that someone is printing these notes and have called on members of the public to inform them if they have any information.
