Police are looking for unknown people who broke into the Sat Prakash Mandir at Jittu Estate, Samabula sometimes this week.
The temple was securely locked when thieves forcibly entered and stole a stereo set with two speakers valued at $800.
Police are calling on for information and has warned that buying stolen properties is a serious offence.
