The Elders, Executives and the head priest of the temple in Field 40 Lautoka which was burnt down yesterday are meeting to decide their next course of action.
Temple President Rajendra Mani said people are pouring in to lend a hand and rebuild the temple. He said however they must present the charred remains of the idols and holy books to the sea before any further steps are taken.
Mani said the Indian High Commission Officials will visit the site tomorrow to try and assist in rebuilding the temple.
Police are still looking for the group of man who broke into a Temple in Field 40 Lautoka and later set it alight yesterday morning.
Divisional Crime Officer Western, SP Vijay Singh confirms that Police investigations continue and no arrests have been made so far.
The temple which was built 80 years ago completely burnt down with all its contents yesterday morning. Police believe that the thugs were looking for money and when they did not find any, they set the Temple alight.
