Police Commissioner, Commodore Esala Teleni said that they are seriously considering the request by Businessman Ballu Khan's lawyers to send him overseas for medical treatment.
Speaking to Village News, Commodore Teleni said that he has assigned a team to have consultations with Khan's lawyer and decide their next step.
Commodore Teleni said that he is also aware of Khan's medical status.
Commodore Teleni revealed that they have to consult the DPP's office before deciding on whether or not to send Khan for overseas treatment.
Khan remains admitted at the Suva Private Hospital.
