Telecommunication Services has been fully restored in the northern division.
Telecom's Marketing and Public Relations Manager Vanessa Kilner said their engineers worked tireless throughout the weekend to restore communication services to areas affected by tropical cyclone Tomas.
She said landline, EasyTel and Data services to Waiyevo in Taveuni have been restored after the TFL team had to clear the road off fallen trees and debris themselves.
TFL is now in the process of restoring EasyTel services to Rabi, Tukavesi and East Cakaudrove however temporary VT-Sat satellite equipment is being temporarily set up on Qamea, Cicia and Lomaloma in Northern Lau to provide customers access to telecommunications.
