Telecommunication services in some parts of Vanua Levu and Northern Lau group have been affected as a direct result of Tropical Cyclone Tomas.
Telecom Fiji Limited Public relations officer, Vanessa Kilner said that TFL antennas that provide Voice and Data services to have been damaged in Labasa, Delailablasa, Mataniwai, Labeka, Savusavu and Delaimaravu.
Kilner adds that at the moment TFL engineers and technicians are already onsite and have begun preparation to restore services as soon as possible.
