Teitjens Has Faith In Fijians
The most successful coach in the IRB 7s, New Zealand's Gordon Tietjens said he has a lot of faith in them after naming Viliame Waqaseduadua, Lote Raikabula, Tomasi Cama Junior and Save Tokula in his 12 member team for Wellington and San Diego.
Tietjens said the Fijians have the natural flair for the 7s game and he is confident that they will deliver the results this weekend.
Coach Gordon Tietjens has recalled Viliame Waqaseduadua, while Tomasi Cama Jnr and Lote Raikabula are retained from the last leg of the IRB 7s series.
Waikato winger Save Tokula is the new face after an impressive outing during last year’s NPC.
Tokula hails from Votua village in Nadroga.
Tietjens added he is confident the boys will perform well in front of the home-crowd.
New Zealand is in Pool B with Niue, Australia and Wales.
The New Zealand International 7's will kick-off in Wellington on Friday at 12pm with the opening game between England and France.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team plays its first pool match against USA at 12:44pm Friday.
