Police are investigating a case where five men are alleged to have gang raped a 17-year-old girl in Suva on Friday night.
Police have confirmed the girl has been taken to hospital for examination and is currently under observation.
The girl reported to police that she was raped by the five at the Suva foreshore.
Police are now working on some leads and arrests are expected soon.
Meanwhile, Nadi police have managed to arrest the man who allegedly lured a 15-year-old girl to his house and raped her on several occasions between September and October this year.
The victim who is from a broken family was in Nadi Town when the man took her to his home under the pretext of providing shelter and food.
It is then alleged that the man took her to several motels in Nadi on several occasions and gave her liquor.
According to police, the man then forced his way on her and each time he raped her, he would also threaten her.
The man is expected to be charged later today.
