Vodafone lines have been disrupted for the past two evenings with people unable to make calls with text messages being delayed, however, management said engineers are currently working on the problem.

Vodafone Manager Corporate Affairs Shailendra Prasad confirmed there were some problems getting calls through the Vodafone network late yesterday evening adding this was a result of a technical fault on their network that corrupted calls, that is, all calls were not able to be processed.

However, he said their engineers from overseas have been working on the network since last night and have been able to rectify the issue.

Prasad said they are hopeful that services will now be back to normal.
