There were tears of joy in the eyes of the residents Old People's Home today as the staff of Fiji National Provident Fund gave away Christmas gifts for the 53 residents.
FNPF Manager Public Relation and Corporate Communications Wainikiti Bogidrau said the staff had spent $3000 for the morning tea and the gifts.
Bogidrau said the event was a reminder to them just how fortunate they were to have a home.
Meanwhile, Old People's home Superintendant Wati Manu said the residents were looking forward to today.
A 69 year old resident Isoa Wailoa said he was happy to be with the home.
