The Agriculture Ministry has sent out teams to assess damages caused by Cyclone Mick.
Permanent Secretary Colonel Mason Smith said the teams were dispatched yesterday, and the Minister is currently in the North visiting affected areas.
Col. Smith said reports received so far indicate major losses for farming communities in both the Central and Western Division.
Col. Smith said they will put together a damage report before submitting it to DISMAC and the Prime Minister's Office.
