The winning Courts Homecentres IDC champion Lautoka side's coach Dennis Singh believes a team has to play with confidence to beat soccer giants Vodafone Ba in the final.
After yesterday's 1-nil win in the IDC final, Singh said he told his boys before the game they need to have faith in themselves that they can beat Fiji's soccer giants in front of their home crowd.
Singh said the investment made on overseas based reps paid off for them as they stood out in the tournament.
Ba President Rishi Kumar conceded defeat saying his side lost to a better team and with the inclusion of overseas based players, they have an edge in the final.
Malakai Waqa scored Lautoka's winning goal in the final. Meanwhile Lautoka captain Jone Vono Junior was last night named Player of the Tournament in the IDC while the highest goal scorer of the tournament award went to Ba Primary School's Hussein Khan, who scored a total of 6 goals in the four day tournament.
Khan also won the Junior Player of the Tournament award.
