Sixteen teams have confirmed their spots in the second elimination round in the cup competition at the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7’s at Prince Charles Park.
The Fiji Invitation team has continued their winning streak after they beat Coastal Rental Conua in the first elimination round by 14 points to nil.
In other results Marist 7’s winners Prison beat Gaunavou Vitogo by 15-0, Sigatoka Police beat Ravita Young Boys by 22-5, hosts Nawaka beat Tubaniwai by 12-7 and Army Red beat Army Green by 33-14.
The Fiji Invitation team will now meet Fiji Bitter Gaunavou in the second elimination round of the main cup competition before the final eight is confirmed for the quarterfinals.
This is the same team that the Fiji Invitation team beat 14-7 in their pool game yesterday.
