An Inquiry team member who investigated tax evasion allegations against Mahendra Chaudhry said they have made independent decisions without any pressure from anyone.
Former Deputy Prime Minister in the SVT government Taufa Vakatale said it is just not right for people like Laisenia Qarase, Mick Beddoes and Pramod Rae to say that she has a tarnished reputation because she was a member of the suspect Human Rights Commission 2006 Election Inquiry.
Vakatale said these politicians are also making ridiculous statements like she is pro labour.
Vakatale said some politicians just want to pass judgment on anyone who is trying to do something good for the nation.
She said it is also laughable to hear that NFP General Secretary Pramod Rae had said that Vakatale would be biased towards the interim government because she is the former wife of former FIRCA Chairman and current Interim Education Minister Filipe Bole.
