No teacher has been so far blocked out of the classroom for not being registered in the Teacher Registration Board.
The Education Minister Filipe Bole said that a team of officers are still out in the outer islands trying to get all those teachers registered who were not able to register due to transportation problem.
He said they have already registered 10,000 so far and 234 teachers are yet to register and these teachers are in the outer islands.
Meanwhile, the members of Fiji Teachers Union had a smooth 1st day at school yesterday as well as today.
Union's General Secretary Agni Deo Singh said all their members are already registered under the TRB however he believes the Education Ministry call to block teachers from classroom if they are not registered is very harsh.
