The Fiji Women's volleyball team continued with their winning performance in the Oceania Volleyball Championship in New Caledonia with a 3 straight set-win against Papua New Guinea in their second pool game last night.

Anaseini Seniloli was the toast of the team as she hammered some powerful left handed hits at their Melanesian rivals PNG and partnered well with Rapeka Lasaqa to lead the Kulawai Green team to a 25-16, 25-15 and 25-21 win against PNG.

The last time a Fiji team met and beat PNG was at the 1999 South Pacific Games in Guam where Fiji won the bronze medal.

Kulawai Green will play New Caledonia 1 at 6.30pm this evening to determine the winner of Pool 1 in what is billed as a feature match of the day.

Meanwhile, the Kulawai Red team lost 3 sets to nil against New Zealand.
