The Fiji Bati Rugby League team will re-look into history in a bid to repeat their performance during the Rugby League World Cup in 2008.

Manager Mesake Navugona said the team will be taken to a team bonding exercise which is called back to our roots in Serua Island.

Navugona added that the training is similar to what they did in 2008 which changed the lives of many of the players like Jarryd Hayne who went on to win the Dally M medal in the NRL the following year.

Meanwhile, the Rugby League World Cup kicks off on the 27th of this month with Fiji taking on Ireland in their first match on the 29th of October.
