The Digicel Fiji 7s team is already the talk of the 2011 Hong Kong Sevens.
The inclusion of the 7 members of the side that lost to South Africa in the USA Sevens and the return of co-captain Dale Tonawai, Osea Kolinisau and Setefano Cakau has caught the attention of the other 23 teams taking part in Hong Kong.
Manager Talemo Waqa said that in the coaches and managers meeting this morning most of them have talked highly about Fiji’s chances with a well balanced and experienced line up.
Waqa added that this has not changed the plan in the Fiji camp, as they are aware of what they can expect from the other teams taking part in this tournament.
This afternoon the Fiji team will play a warm up game against Mexico before the final training run tomorrow morning.
Fiji’s opening pool game is against Malaysia on Friday night at 9.14pm.
