Team Fiji presented their i-Tatau to the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau today before leaving for Papua New Guinea for the Pacific Games next week.
While receiving the i-Tatau on behalf of the people of Fiji, Nailatikau told our athletes to be committed and go for gold
Chef de mission Cathy Wong says the first batch of 221 athletes are expected to leave the country next Wednesday.
456 atheletes from 26 sports will represent Fiji at the Pacific Games this year.
The second batch is expected to leave next Sunday.
The Pacific Games will be held from next Friday to the 18th of next month.
