Officials for Team Fiji for the Pacific Games are struggling to raise $2 million to send the team to Papua New Guinea in July.
With less than three months away to the Pacific Games, Chef de Mission Cathy Wong said finance has been the main problem for them and they are pleading for public support.
Wong said that financially their levies were cut off last week and a handful of teams are struggling with their payments.
She said they are working behind the scene with minor sports officials on planning and looking at their numbers to go to PNG.
Every team has until the end of the month to finalize their number and pay their levies.
Fiji will be represented in 28 sports in the Pacific Games which will be held from July 4th.
