Team Fiji won three gold medals from yesterday's competition in the Pacific Games. Athletics sprint king Jone Delai and queen Makelesi Bulikiobo won gold in the 100 meters sprints finals while after 24 years Squash managed to win a gold through Warren Yee.

Team Fiji still remains in 5th place on the medal tally with 20 gold, 31 silver and 29 bronze.

New Caledonia has extended their medal tally with 66 gold, 48 silver and 43 bronze. Samoa jumped to second place with 27 gold, 24 silver and 32 bronze and Papua New Guinea with 26 gold, 15 silver and 15 bronze is in third place.

Meanwhile Makelesi Bulikiobo who broke the 15 year old Pacific Games record in the 100 meters final yesterday in a time of 11.55 seconds said that even though she had only three months to prepare, nothing is impossible through hard work.
