Team Fiji has this morning managed to add three more silver medals to its medal tally.

Simione Turaganivau won three silver medals in the Weightlifting competition.

He won in the snatch with a lift of 132kg and then in the clean and jerk with a lift of 160kg and took the silver, with a total finish of 292kg in the Men's 94kg category.

Team Fiji still tops the medal standings and they now have 33 gold, 21 silver and 19 bronze.

Tahiti remains in second place with 20 gold, 21 silver and 15 bronze.

Meanwhile, in the squash competition Fiji will this afternoon play against New Caledonia for the bronze medal playoff.

In the table Tennis competition, Fiji's Qi Wang and Richel Sen have qualified for the semifinals of the singles event.

Wang beat Tahiti's Kenji Movin 11-3, 11-6 and 11-1 while Sen defeated New Caledonia's Jeremy Dey by 11-5, 11-4 and 13-4.

In the sailing competition, John Philp is expected to win the silver medal as he lies in second place in the Hobie 16 event with a net score of 20 while Grahame Southwick could win the bronze medal, as he lies in third place with a Net score of 27.

The Pacific Mini Games ends tomorrow in Raratonga.
