Education Minister Filipe Bole has extended the deadline for those teachers in the islands to be registered with the Teachers Registration Board before the start of Term 3.

With the Ministry of Education making it clear that the timeline for serving teachers to be registered is today or they will not be allow to enter the classroom in the next term.

Bole said teachers in Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti who are finding difficulties to come to Suva, a week's time has been given to them as a delegation from the Ministry will leave today to register them before term 3 starts next week.

Bole said they have 9 education offices in the country where teachers can be registered and most of these offices have recorded 100 percent registration from the teachers who live in those areas.
