Some teachers from Rotuma and Lakeba are still waiting for the next available boat to go back to their schools and some of these teachers are expected to leave today.
Education Minister Filipe Bole said that the teachers were in Suva attending a weeklong workshop on Health Promoting Schools.
He said that these teachers are reporting at the Eastern Education Office and the curriculum Development Unit while they wait for their boat.
He said that it is expected that the 5 teachers from Rotuma will leave today while the 6 from Lakeba are expected to leave on Monday.
