Teachers should never forget the oath they take before they are fully fledged to their posts.
Addressing those present at the World Teachers Day Celebration at Marela house through a recorded speech, interim Minister for Education Filipe Bole reminded senior teachers that though they encounter difficulties, the student’s rights should never be forgotten.
Permanent Secretary Emi Rabukawaqa also reminded the senior teachers that they are also indebted to their teachers for the positions they currently hold.
Meanwhile, Rabukawaqa refused to make any statement with regards to the case where a High School Principal in Lami assaulted a student for refusing to close her eyes during a prayer session.
