The issue of teacher shortages should be addressed in the 2008 budget.
Fiji Teachers Union General Secretary, Agni Deo Singh said the union has submitted that the shortage of teachers in primary and secondary schools still remains and something should be done about it.
He also said that only one teacher cannot manage two classes and that some thing should be done so that quality education is provided to the students.
