Teachers around the country who have not registered with the Teachers Registration Board will have to get themselves registered by tomorrow.
The Education Ministry has made it clear that the timeline for serving teachers is the end of August and those who will not be registered by the deadline, will not be allowed to enter the classroom when the school term begins for Term 3.
Meanwhile, teachers from remote and rural areas have been using the holiday period to register themselves while a team from the education ministry will be leaving for Lau today to register all teachers in Lau as they are finding difficulty in travelling to Suva.
Also, all new graduates who wish to join the teaching profession have been told to register before they can be absorbed by the ministry for any teaching duties.
