A Primary School teacher who has pleaded guilty to assaulting 26 students revealed in the Labasa Magistrate court today that he has reconciled with the children and their parents.
Sekope Kacimaiwai was to be sentenced by the Labasa Magistrate court this morning for 21 counts of common assault and five counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm however he informed the magistrate that he has reconciled with the victims and their parents.
He also produced letters in court this morning, written and signed by the victims parents that they have reconciled.
The magistrate then adjourned the case till next Wednesday saying that he has to go through the letters after which he will pass the sentence.
Kacimaiwai has been released on $1000 bail.
