Police have questioned and released a 25 year old Primary school teacher from Labasa for allegedly raping a 22 year old woman last year December.
The woman alleges she was raped by this school teacher in a jungle a few miles away from her house in a settlement outside Labasa.
Police say they need to interview other witnesses before any charges are expected to be laid against the teacher.
Meanwhile, a 35 year old father will appear in the Labasa Magistrate Court today for allegedly raping his 12 year old daughter.
Close family members reported the matter to Police on Monday after they caught the father allegedly raping his daughter in their house.
