Chief Fire Officer has reiterated his call for parents and guardians to teach children at an early age, about the dangers of playing with matches.
Mark Reid's call comes in light of the recent incident where a five year old boy lost his life after their house caught fire which, after preliminary investigations is believed to have been caused by one of the children playing with matches.
Reid has also urged members of the public to call their emergency lines in case of fire.
He has also urged people to have their electrical work done by professionals as number of fire incidents, they have come across are due to electrical faults.
