As taxi owners are still having their taxi meters calibrated, the Land Transport Authority officials have found ten taxi drivers who were not charging the reasonable fare.
LTA spokesperson, Ratu Eroni Volavola said they will soon start booking taxi permit holders, as five taxi drivers were booked in Nausori whose taxi meters were at the old flag-fall and some taxi drivers in Nadi were refusing to use taxi meters.
Meanwhile, Fiji Taxi Union says some taxi meters are yet to be calibrated.
Safeway Electronics boss Tauz Khan could not be reached for comments.
