A 53 year old taxi driver lost his life in a road accident early this morning at Naduru road Kuku Nausori.
Police say around 12am the man was returning from a prayer session and about 200 meters away from his home he lost control of his taxi which hit a FEA pole.
He was taken to Wainibokasi Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
A 35 year old man who was the passenger in the taxi is admitted at the CWM Hospital.
Meanwhile, yesterday a 47 year old Ba Town Council Worker was allegedly hit by a bus in fatal accident in front of the Moto and Kings Road junction near Yalalevu.
