The Fiji Taxi Union is going to take legal action against the Interim Minister for Transport, Manu Korovulavula.
Union General Secretary Rishi Ram said that they have no other option but to take the matter of taxi fare increases to the Court of Law, as they have desperately waited for a fare increase for the last 7 years.
Ram said that by going on strike they would not have achieved anything.
He also added that instructions have been given to their lawyer Hemendra Nagin who is expected to file necessary papers in court tomorrow morning on the issue.
