The Fiji Taxi Union is fairly optimistic that taxi fares will increase by the first week of September.
Union General Secretary, Rishi Ram said he has received the copies of the audited financial report last week which has been sent to the Land Transport Authority.
He also said that 80% of the work had already been done by the LTA while 20% depended on the Fiji Taxi Union's submission.
