Tax Officers are now conducting random checks on some hotel and resort operators who are suspected of not complying with the Pay As You Earn regulations.
Speaking to Village news, FIRCA CEO Jitoko Tikolevu confirms that certain individual operators have been identified for not adhering to the PAYE regulations.
Tikolevu said these operators are denying the government of revenue by not making PAYE deductions from their employees.
