Tax evaders beware! Officials from the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority will start their door to door inspection from this morning to track down individuals and businesses who continue to disregard their obligations.
FIRCA CEO Jitoko Tikolevu confirmed to Village News that they are targeting people who failed to come forward over several years and did not take advantage of the tax amnesty offered by the interim government last month to pay their dues.
The Operation will also be conducted in the Northern Division later this month.
