A total of 34,000 people will exempted from paying taxes now as the announcement was made yesterday by Cabinet that the Income Tax threshold will increase from $9,000 to $15,000 from the first of next month.
Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority Chief Executive, Jitiko Tikolevu confirms that an extra 19,000 people will not pay tax now.
