The Tavua soccer team has lodged a protest against Navua after their 2-0 loss last weekend in the National Soccer League competition.

President Solo Nakunalisa believes that Navua fielded unregistered players and he is confident that he can win the protest.

Tavua finished at the bottom of the table this season and is expected to play in the Promotion Relegation Series.

But if they win the protest over Navua, then Nasinu will feature in the Promotion Relegation Series.

Meanwhile, Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar has confirmed that he has received Tavua's protest and the hearing will take place sometime next week.
