Tavua created an upset over the weekend beating Navua 1-0 in the National Soccer League competition.

The win has given some relief to Tavua as the team still sits last on the points table with eight points and is in real danger of playing the Promotion and Relegation Series.

Meanwhile, Nadi player William Valentine scored an own goal yesterday to give Rewa a 1-0 win at Prince Charles park.

In Premier Division matches yesterday, Rakiraki beat Vatukoula 3-2, Nasinu beat Lami 3-1 and Tailevu North beat Levuka 3-2.
