The Tavua rugby team has never won the Sullivan-Farebrother Trophy and is coming in confident in this week's challenge to dethrone the champion Tailevu side.
Speaking to Village Sports, Tavua Coach Josaia Kotobalavu said that the team has been preparing hard for the past four weeks, and believe they have a good chance after a very close game against Tailevu in the Sanyo Cup competition.
Tavua who joined the major unions in 1996, have only made two challenges since then, the most recent being in 2005 when they lost by a tournament record 95-8 to Nadroga.
The Tavua/Tailevu match kicks off at 3pm at the Vodafone Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, and you can catch a live-commentary of the match on our sister station Viti FM.
