One of the main men behind the 1987 coup who led the Taukei Movement, Ratu Meli Vesikula has admitted that he has done a lot of wrong things and is sorry about what transpired 21 years ago.

While speaking at the launching of the book "1987 Fiji 20 years on" at USP last night, the Verata chief said after the coup, he realized that what he was fighting for was wrong, however he was grateful that people who saw him during the Taukei Movement marches forgave him.
