The taskforce responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation work following January's floods met last week to go through the consolidated report approved by cabinet to see how the work will be implemented.

National Planning Permanent Secretary Peter Wise said the taskforce made up of Permanent Secretaries studied the report which includes how various industries affected like Agriculture and Dairy as well as work on the damaged infrastructure should be carried out.

Wise said talks are also underway to secure funding from overseas donors.
