The Great Council of Chiefs Taskforce team is expected to hold discussions with Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama when he returns from Rome on the nomination of members from the various province to the GCC.
GCC Taskforce chairman Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo confirmed the main issue to be discussed is to inform the Interim PM of the stand of the various provinces of the new look GCC, the nominees to the GCC and the date for the next GCC meeting to be convened.
This week the taskforce team is likely to travel to Rotuma before they return to make a presentation to the Lau Provincial Council meeting on the 25th of this month.
Meanwhile, Nawalowalo added the Charter team will also travel with them to the island of Rotuma.
