Vodafone Fiji Bati forward Tariq Sims faces at least two weeks on the sidelines for a dangerous tackle in North Queensland’s 42-12 loss to the Raiders yesterday.

Sims will still be available for State of Origin Game Two should he be required by Blues coach Laurie Daley.

Sims will cop a three week suspension, which would rule him out of the second interstate clash at ANZ Stadium, if he contests the charge and loses.

Tonight the Sharks play the Rabbitohs at 9pm.

Meanwhile on Wednesday Queensland will take on New South Wales at 10pm in game one of the State of Origin.
