Waratahs new rising star and Fiji born winger Taqele Naiyaravoro is ready to give his utmost best when the Waratahs takes on Western Force in their opening Super Rugby match this afternoon.
Coach Michael Cheika has named a team that will kick off the defence of their Super Rugby title and has given Naiyaravoro his first start after impressing Cheika in the Super Rugby pre‑season.
The team will be captained by Dave Dennis who returns from injury as does Matt Carraro.
The Waratahs will face the Force at 5.05pm today.
Meanwhile in the other results, the Chiefs beats the Blues 23-18, Cheetahs defeated the Sharks 35-28, the Stormers shocked the Bulls with a 29-17 victory, Melbourne Rebels upset the Crusaders 20-10, Brumbies thrashed the Reds 47‑3, while the Hurricanes beat the Lions 22‑8.
Looking at the points table, the Brumbies is on top with 5 points, Cheetahs is in second place with 5, Hurricanes sitting at third place with 4 points while Stormers, Rebels and Chiefs are sitting in fourth place with four points each.
