Described as iconic and providing a point of difference, the new Tappoo City building is a six storey project that will change the Suva skyline.
Chairman of Penina Limited, a joint venture between FNPF investments Limited & the Tappoo Group, Howard Politini said it is a sight-arresting design of creativity, uniquely blending a traditional Fijian takia sail design with modern outline and structure.
Politini said it will be a building that will incorporate the best practices of retail and entertainment from around the world.
He added they are confident the new Tappoo store would be comparable to the best of current up-market department stores in the South Pacific region including Australia and New Zealand.
The building will be ready to open later this year.
