Indications are clear from the hierarchy of rugby in Fiji that current coach Iliesa Tanivula and his assistant Josateki Savou will be still in charge of the Digicel Fiji 7s team to the Hong Kong and Australia 7s.

Fiji Rugby Union, Interim Chairman, Rafaele Kasibulu has confirmed that they will carry out the review of the team performance from NZ and USA 7s later this week or sometime next week.

While Tanivula and Savou faced a lot of criticism after the quarter final loss to Samoa in NZ, the side bounced back and played well to lose in the final of the USA 7s which Kasibula believes showed the potential of the coaching staff.

Kasibulu added that the upcoming Provincial 7s this week, next weekend’s Nawaka 7s and the Marist 7s will give the coaching staff another opportunity to look at other players who can don the national 7s jumper.
