Tanivula puts more focus on team bonding
Coach Iliesa Tanivula said that they will be focusing on this aspect, so that there will be no mistakes when the players take to the field in the Suva International 7s next month.
Tanivula also believes that they must win at the New Zealand and USA 7s tournaments, to have any chance of winning the 2009/2010 IRB World 7s Series.
Fiji current lie in second place with 36 points after the Dubai and George 7s tournaments.
Meanwhile, New Zealand 7s Coach Gordon Tietjens has ruled himself out of the Digicel Suva International 7s tournament next month.
Tietjens earlier said, he was coming with the Manawatu side but changed his plans after meeting the New Zealand Rugby Union yesterday.
Tietjens said he will be in camp at the time of the Suva International 7s tournament with his New Zealand 7s team and won't be able to come to Fiji.
He also said that top players like Lote Raikabula and Tomasi Cama Junior will not be coming either.
The Digicel Suva International 7s tournament will be held from 21st to 23rd of January at the tfl National Stadium.
