The final round of games at the Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament will start in the next hour at The Sevens ground in Dubai with the Digicel Fiji Sevens team taking on Kenya at 10.34 this evening.
Eight top teams that have qualified for the Cup quarterfinals are the best.
The top six teams, Fiji, New Zealand, England, Argentina, Samoa and South Africa have come in unbeaten from their pools while Kenya and Wales scrapped into the last eight as the two best runner-up teams.
Fiji being the defending champions, is still hot favourite to retain the Melrose Cup come tomorrow morning.
And after an impressive 38-5 win against France and a 26-12 victory over USA in the second pool game, coach Iliesa Tanivula remains confident that the players will rise to the occasion.
It is likely that Tanivula will retain the same line-up that defeated France 38-5 in their last pool game when they will face Kenya.
While Tanivula will name his starting line-up at 7pm tonight, it looks good he will opt for captain Semisi Naevo, Apolosi Satala and either Pio Tuwai or Jerry Burotu in the forwards.
Jone Daunivucu will be at half-back, Neumi Nanuku at play-maker, Vereniki Goneva at rover while Napolioni Nalaga on the wing.
Filimoni Delasau, Osea Sareki, Peni Rokodiva and Waisale Suka are expected to be used as impact players.
And FRU chairman Keni Dakuidreketi said people of Fiji should get behind the team, as so far they have performed really well.
New Zealand coach Gordon Tietjens has said that Fiji is the most dangerous team in this tournament but his hoping to add another title to his name.
England's Isoa Damudamu said they also have a chance of creating history this year.
Samoan 7s captain Ofisa Traviranus said they are also happy to be in the Cup quarterfinals.
The Cup quarterfinals gets underway at 9.28pm when New Zealand takes on Wales, at 9.50pm England will face Samoa while at 10.12 pm South Africa plays Argentina and the last quarterfinal at 10.34pm, Fiji will battle it out with Kenya.
The Cup semifinal kicks off at 1.08 tomorrow morning and the Cup final gets underway at 4:35am.
